Ingredients

1 finely grated Carrot, 35g / 1.2oz grated Cheddar, 1.5 tsp finely chopped Chives, 2 slices White bread, 1 tbsp Full-fat cream cheese, 2 tsp softened Unsalted butter, pinch freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation

1. Squeeze the juice from 1 finely grated Carrot. 2. Mix the Carrot, 35g / 1.2oz grated Cheddar, 1.5 tsp finely chopped Chives, and a pinch of freshly ground Black pepper in a bowl. 3. Spread 0.5 tbsp Full-fat cream cheese on 1 slice of White bread. 4. Distribute the Carrot mixture evenly on the cream cheese side of the bread. 5. Spread 0.5 tbsp Full-fat cream cheese on the other slice of White bread and place it on top, cream cheese side facing down. 6. Heat a griddle pan over medium heat. 7. Spread 2 tsp softened Unsalted butter on the top side of the sandwich. 8. Place the sandwich buttered side down on the pan, then spread butter on the other side. 9. Cook for a few minutes until golden and crispy, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
