Ingredients
- 250g / 8.82oz Quinoa
- 250ml / 8.45fl oz Water
- 200ml / 6.76fl oz Coconut milk
- 2 peeled and grated Pears
- 1 tsp Orange zest
- 2 tbsp Cocoa
- 1 cored and thinly sliced Pear
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Yoghurt
Preparation
- Rinse 250g / 8.82oz Quinoa well in running water and drain.
- Place the Quinoa and 250ml / 8.45fl oz Water in a saucepan, simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add 200ml / 6.76fl oz Coconut milk, 2 peeled and grated Pears, 1 tsp Orange zest, and 2 tbsp Cocoa, simmer for additional 5-10 minutes until Quinoa grains are puffy.
- While Quinoa is cooking, melt 2 tbsp Butter in a pan, fry 1 cored and thinly sliced Pear until golden.
- Serve the Chocolate Quinoa with a spoonful of Yoghurt and the buttery Pears, sprinkled with Cocoa.
