Ingredients
- 200ml / 6.76fl oz Milk
- 550g / 19.4oz Spelt flour
- 1 tsp Dry yeast
- 5 tbsp Neutral oil
- 100g / 3.52oz Carrot
- 1 Egg yolk
- 100g / 3.52oz Cooked ham
- 200g / 7.05oz Grated cheese
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
Preparation
- Mix 200ml Milk with 150ml hot water.
- Combine 550g Spelt flour and 1 tsp Dry yeast in a bowl.
- Add the milk mixture and 2 tbsp Neutral oil, kneading for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Peel and grate 100g Carrot.
- Beat 1 Egg yolk.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface, divide it into 8 pieces, and roll each to 20x25cm.
- Brush with 1 tsp Neutral oil, layer with Cooked ham, grated Carrot, and 200g Grated cheese. Roll up.
- Cut into 6cm pieces, place on baking sheets, brush with Egg yolk, and sprinkle with Sesame seeds.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
