Ingredients
- 177.44ml / 6fl oz Fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Organic cane sugar
- 2 tbsp Raw honey
- 237ml / 8fl oz Cold water
Preparation
- Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil.
- Whisk together 177.44ml / 6fl oz fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp organic cane sugar, and 2 tbsp raw honey in an 8x8 inch metal baking pan.
- Pour in 237ml / 8fl oz just-boiled water and whisk until the sugar and honey have dissolved. Stir in 237ml / 8fl oz cold water. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Cover and place in the freezer for 2 hours.
- Remove the slushie from the freezer and use a fork to scrape up any frozen bits, then return to the freezer for another hour.
- Remove, scrape with a fork to break up any new ice crystals, then return to the freezer for 1 more hour.
- Do one final scrape before serving.
