Ingredients
160g / 5.64oz Whole grain spelt flour, 20g / 0.71oz Sesame seeds, 2 tsp Tahini, 50g / 1.76oz Butter, 100ml / 3.38fl oz Water, 20g / 0.71oz Sesame seeds
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). 2. In a bowl, mix 160g / 5.64oz whole grain spelt flour with 20g / 0.71oz sesame seeds. 3. Dissolve 2 tsp tahini in 100ml / 3.38fl oz water and add to the flour mixture. 4. Cut 50g / 1.76oz butter into small cubes and add to the mixture. Knead into a smooth dough. 5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 0.5cm. 6. Sprinkle with the remaining 20g / 0.71oz sesame seeds and press lightly. 7. Cut the dough into 3x3cm diamond shapes. 8. Place the diamonds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 9. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. 10. Let the crackers cool on a cake rack.
