Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 large Eggs
- 3 tbsp grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
- Heat 1 tbsp Butter in a small frying pan and grease it well.
- Whisk 2 large Eggs in a bowl and pour them into the hot, greased pan. Move the pan around to spread the mixture out evenly. Cook on medium to low heat.
- When the omelette begins to cook and firm up, top one half with 3 tbsp grated Cheddar cheese.
- Allow the cheese to melt a little then use a spatula to ease around the edge of the omelette and fold it in half.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and leave for a few seconds for the cheese to melt and for the omelette to cool slightly before serving.
