Ingredients

450g / 16oz 80/20 Ground grass-fed beef, 1 tsp Kosher salt, 0.25 tsp ground Black pepper, 0.5 tsp Paprika, 0.5 tsp Garlic powder, 0.5 tsp Onion powder, 0.5 tsp Mustard powder, 0.25 tsp Ground turmeric, 2 tbsp Barbecue sauce, 4 slices Cheddar cheese

Preparation

1. Combine 450g / 16oz 80/20 Ground grass-fed beef, 1 tsp Kosher salt, 0.25 tsp Ground black pepper, 0.5 tsp Paprika, 0.5 tsp Garlic powder, 0.5 tsp Onion powder, 0.5 tsp Mustard powder, 0.25 tsp Ground turmeric, and 2 tbsp Barbecue sauce in a large bowl. Mix gently but thoroughly. 2. Form into four roughly 1.27cm / 0.5-inch-thick burger patties. 3. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat or heat grill to medium. 4. Cook burgers for 2-3 minutes per side for medium rare. 5. Add 4 slices Cheddar cheese, turn off heat and cover with lid or close grill for about 30 seconds to melt cheese. 6. Transfer burgers to buns or lettuce leaves and top with desired toppings.
